A little over an hour from Los Angeles, the City of Indio is proud to present Lone Mountain Park in its most northern area. This is a great location for families and offers outdoor activities that will please the whole family. There are a few options for hiking that you can do while visiting the lone mountain park. Hiking can be done on the east side of the park or the west side. It is best to get the hiking directions before heading out to do the hiking so that you have a better idea about where you are going to hike.
To get to the hiking trail head, visitors are advised to park in the Pacifica parking lot across from the Amado Creek campground. From the parking area, you will then follow a trail that leads to the restrooms, which are to the left of the trail head. If you stay right at the trailhead, you will want to continue on a short distance to the WPT (Water Trail) and stay right at the WPT, you will want to continue to stay right at the end of the WPT, to catch your vehicle.

In order to access the hiking portion of the lone mountain hike, you will need to hike up the forested mountain slopes on the west side of the lone mountain park. From the parking area, you will go east until you come to the base of the lone mountain. Here, the path will branch off to the left (uphill) and then back onto the same trail that you came in on. Keep moving forward until you reach a fallen tree. At this point, it is easy to see that the path begins to head back towards the Amado Creek campground.

Just as the Amado Creek campground is an older road, the Amado Creek picnic tables are also on an older road. Therefore, the trail that you are supposed to take, going back towards the Amado Creek campground, is also an older road. Just before you get to the Amado Creek campground, you will come across a small wooden bridge. Just across from this bridge is the picnic area. Again, be cautious as hikers have been known to spend the night here. Just as the Amado Creek campground, the Amado Mountain Park Trail head is on the eastern side of the lone mountain.
Hiking the lone mountain park trailhead will give you the opportunity to view the beautiful blue canyon that makes up the park. On the northwest, you will see the river that runs through the park and on its way to the San Miguel National Park. Also, there are two overlooks on the western side of the trailhead that offer panoramic views of the mountains and the surrounding area. A Brief Overview Of The Outdoor Restaurant At The Lone Mountain Regional Park Reservation
Lone Mountain Regional Park is located in Lone Tree, New Mexico. This is one of the best places in New Mexico to enjoy all of the great outdoor activities there is to do. Large natural area with many walking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas and a nearby equestrian center, making it the perfect family destination. There are many things that you can do in the area.
One of the great features about the Lone Mountain regional park is it has two grills that are available for your use. The restrooms are very close to the walking trails so you can use them while your children are out there playing. The restrooms are self-cleaning so you won’t need to worry about those daily clean-ups.
If you would like to sit on a rock and take in the views of the park then you will be able to at the lone mountain trail head. From here, you will have a great view of the surrounding area. It has two access points, which are located on the left and right of the trail head. From the parking area, you will need to walk two miles to the lone mountain trail head. From here, you will be able to cross some small streams, which are about a half mile long.
Once you reach the trail head you will need to fill up your water tank and register as to the day you parked your vehicle. The Lone Mountain park reservation form requires personal information, so be sure to complete it before you leave. This information will allow the rangers to know how to check your vehicle out if you are there on the day you reserved. You will also be required to sign the visitor logbook.
If you are interested in a food trip, then you will have to get your food reservations made ahead of time. There is a timeshare selection for lunch and dinner. The first come first serve policy applies here. Each day that you are there, you are to stop by and choose which day you would like to go back and choose your foods from the menu provided. There are four picnic tables available at the lone mountain regional park reservation form. These tables are placed along the stream that is near the parking lot. The chairs that are placed around these tables are also meant to provide shade to you as you eat. The tables are level and the surrounding benches are also level. There is a hole at the base of each table, so you can put your food into the holes.
At one time there were tables with chairs along these streams, but they have been removed because they became overcrowded. The stream can be used for camping if you do not have your own camping equipment. Most likely, you will also be needing a flat soda and some water, so these items can be easily provided for while eating your lunch. You do not have to worry about these items if you have your own vehicle, since they are very easy to carry with you.
Some of the dishes that you are allowed to order at the Lone Mountain Park reservation form include grilled chickens, corn on the cob, and a quail eggs salad. All of these dishes can be found at most of the restaurants in town. For dessert, you can choose between a crepe, an apple pie, a pound cake, or a chocolate sauce. All of these foods can be found in the restaurants located throughout the park. In addition, you can have your drinks delivered to your car.
